How to find the hallmark
The hallmark is a small stamp, usually on the inside of a ring, on a chain's clasp, or on a brooch's pin. A magnifying glass or your phone's camera makes it easy to read.

Do I need an appointment for gold buying?
We recommend an appointment so we can take enough time for your pieces. During our opening hours, Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm, you're also welcome without one.
How is the buying price calculated?
We sort your pieces by fineness and weigh them on a calibrated scale. The weight multiplied by the per-gram price of that alloy gives the buying price. We adjust the per-gram prices daily to the precious metal rate.
What do I need to bring for gold buying?
Your pieces and a valid ID card or passport. For precious metal purchases, identification is legally required from certain amounts onward.
When do I get my money?
For gold buying, immediately after inspection if you like. For an auction, you receive the payout after the hammer falls.
What happens to stones and pearls in jewellery?
In a pure gold purchase we only pay for the precious metal. Jewellery with valuable stones is therefore also worth checking for auction, since there the whole piece counts.
Do you also buy silver cutlery, coins and bars?
Yes. We buy silver cutlery, gold and silver coins as well as bars at material value. Coins with collector value and cutlery from renowned manufacturers can be worthwhile for an auction.
